Trey is seriously addressing the housing crisis in Marlborough. From seniors getting priced out to those who grew up here needing to move somewhere more affordable to set down roots, there are residents across the city who need a hand up. That’s why Trey will vote for new developments that increase our affordable housing stock–creating meaningful options for those who need them.

Trey believes that by striking a balance between commercial and residential development, we can expand job opportunities, increase our affordable housing stock, and maintain our city’s low residential tax rate.

Trey has also stood up to developers and proposals that don't fit the needs of our community. This includes denying a zoning map amendment at 1 Maple Terrace, a special permit application for a car wash at 223 East Main Street, and a zoning map amendment to 36 Maple Street.

Trey grew up making memories at the reservoir and wants future generations to be able to do the same. He will do this by partnering with the Fort Meadow Commission in preserving the lake's natural shoreline, combating excessive weed growth, and tackling invasive species.

Trey voted to approve the Fort Meadow Commission's Fiscal Year 2025 & 2026 budget's to ensure we have the necessary funds to keep our lake safe and healthy for years to come.

Trey also approved funding the Fort Meadow dam maintenance project. This project will ensure the dam is fully operational and up-to-date.

Trey has also provided feedback to the city's conservation team to support the newly updated draft Open Space and Recreation Plan.

Trey believes this starts by putting power back in the hands of our small business owners. They know what works best for downtown Marlborough, and Trey looks forward to ensuring they have a meaningful voice when discussing revitalization. It is the City Council’s responsibility to make investments in our downtown infrastructure that will allow for small businesses to be the driving force in this revitalization effort.

Trey is also proud to have voted in support of MEDCs FY25 Budget which will continue to fund the Economic Toolbox–a program that helps small businesses obtain grants and a community loan.
